Liposuction
Liposuction never replaces a healthy diet. The goal of liposuction is to sculpt your body to give you more aesthetic proportions. Liposuction is done in patients who have excess fat that is out of proportion to their body in certain areas and is resistant to diet and exercise.
The results are for life, as long as the weight remains stable. The fat that is extracted can never grow back.
This depends on each person. Typical liposuction varies between 1 L and 4L of fat.
The pain is present for about 2 -7 days. Taking regular pain medication and wearing the compression garment help decrease the discomfort.
Like any surgical procedure, there is the risk of anesthesia as well as the risk of infection and bleeding. All possible complications and how to avoid them, will be discussed with you during your consultation.
