How it works
After local anesthesia is administered, small incisions are created near the treatment area. Liposuction is always used to dissect the tissues and unload the area from fat. The device’s probe is inserted after the liposuction is complete and uses radiofrequency (RF) technology, paired with cold helium plasma, to tighten the skin and trigger natural cell regeneration.
Liposuction is often combined with J-plasma. Dr. Perry Gdalevitch’s signature awake liposuction represents the latest advancement in suction-assisted fat removal. Unlike traditional liposuction, Dr. Gdalevitch removes excess fat under local anesthetic. You will be awake and comfortable as your body is sculpted. Since general anesthesia is unnecessary, you can expect to recover from the surgery more quickly.
