Morpheus 8 uses radiofrequency technology to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. It helps to improve the skin’s texture, soften fine wrinkles, tighten skin laxity, and reduce stretch marks. It may be performed on many parts of the body, including the face. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, face and body tissues can be remodelled to reveal a more rejuvenated, youthful appearance. At Phi Plastic Surgery, we can optimize your Morpheus 8 results with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for even more rejuvenating benefits.

    How it works

Morpheus 8 is a non-surgical treatment performed in the office. Before the procedure we apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area. Like microneedling, the Morpheus8 has several tiny needles (24 to be exact) that are inserted into the skin, stimulating new collagen. This device uses needles to penetrate the skin more deeply and radio frequency energy to heat and stimulate the collagen in the skin. The trauma from the needles and the heat cause the underlying tissues to contract, remodel and produce more collagen which ultimately results in skin tightening.

    Your results

Morpheus 8 requires minimal downtime, ranging between 2 to 5 days. Immediately after, you will see some redness that will disappear almost entirely by the next day. Results appear approximately three weeks to six weeks following the procedure. However, three treatments are needed to get an optimal result at 6-8 week intervals. Patients will notice that their skin looks rejuvenated and tighter. When used on the body, patients also see improvements in the texture and colour of scarring and stretch marks.
