Mélanie Turgeon Head nurse

I have been a nurse for more than 20 years and have been practicing in the operating room for 15 years. Through these many years, I have been able to acquire skills that allow me ensure our operating rooms exceed all standards and run smoothly. I plan, supervise, and coordinate the surgical activities, as well as train all of our incoming staff to ensure that your safety is always top of mind.

I act as a resource person for my colleagues in the planning, performance and evaluation of perioperative nursing care. In addition, I act as an operating room nurse and technical assistant when needed.

I pride myself on offering caring, compassionate and individualized care for each patient. I strive for excellence by ensuring our operating rooms are state of the art and that our staff is committed to the highest level of safety.
